PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control continuation or termination of display in accordance with a kind of a device when communication connection with the device is disconnected during the display on the basis of data transmitted from the connected device.SOLUTION: A display device 1 comprises a USB connector 102 for communicably connecting an external device. The display device 1 comprises a CPU 107 for performing display on the basis of data received from the external device where communication connection is established through the USB connector 102. The CPU 107 obtains kind information showing a kind of the external device where the communication connection is established. When the communication connection with the external device is disconnected, the CPU 107 continues the display on the basis of the received data if the kind of the external device is a predetermined kind, and terminates the display if the kind of the external device is not the predetermined kind. |
