PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for producing a sensor unit, in which an electric potential difference between a casing of a sensor body and an electric component is prevented from being an obstacle to a printed circuit board.SOLUTION: This method aims to produce a sensor unit (6) for sensing an angular position of a rotatable element (42) with respect to a fixed element (44). The sensor unit includes: an encoder element (62), which is fixed to the rotatable element (42) and is adapted to generate magnetic field variations in accordance with an angular position thereof; and a sensing element (640), which is fixed to the fixed element (44) and is adapted to sense the magnetic field variations. The sensing element (640) is mounted on and connected to a printed circuit board (642) that is mounted in a shielding casing (66) fixed to the fixed element (44). This method comprises a step of grounding the shielding casing (66) by electrically connecting to a load discharging device of the printed circuit board (642). |
