PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsion beam structure of a torsion beam type suspension capable of securing necessary torsional rigidity while attaining improvement in productivity and weight reduction.SOLUTION: Thick parts 3a are partially formed by changing a thickness in a cross section of a torsion beam 3 in the peripheral direction, as a structure of a torsion beam 3 of a torsion beam type suspension having a pair of right and left trailing arms arranged in the longitudinal direction in vehicle both sides and the torsion beam 3 of an opening cross-sectional shape of being arranged in the vehicle width direction and connecting the trailing arms. Actually, the thick parts 3a are formed in four places in the total of opposite side positions of the opening end and opening ends to the cross-sectional gravity center G of the torsion beam 3. |
