PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clarify the responsiveness of a WRKY45 gene in a rice plant, and to provide a novel nucleic acid construct that shows the responsiveness to a disease stress and a disease resistance inducing agent.

SOLUTION: The nucleic acid construct comprises connecting a polynucleotide consisting of a base sequence of a sequence number 1 and consisting of a region from a transcription start point upstream 1965 to just before 3'-UTR of a WRKY45 gene in a rice plant with a polynucleotide encoding a target protein.
