The present invention relates to a system for appraising art by using the features of the art and a method thereof. The method for appraising the art by using the features of the art comprises a step for enabling an art feature extraction unit to extract the art feature of an appraised object by using a set of appraised object art information; a step for enabling a matching unit to match the art feature of the appraised object to a genuine feature or an artist feature of a database; and a step for enabling an authenticity determination unit to determine the authenticity of the appraised object based on the information.
