PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping device which allows the easy addition of a damping function of vibration energy with respect to an existing vibration damping device.SOLUTION: A damping device includes a first coupled member 30 which is detachably mounted to a first mount 10, a second coupled member 40 which is detachably mounted to a second mount 20, and a damper 50 which couples the first coupled member 30 and the second coupled member 40 to each other. The damper 50 has an accommodation member 55 which is detachably mounted to the second coupled member 40 and accommodates a viscous fluid R therein, a movable rod 51 which extends in a direction of coupling the first coupled member 30 and the second coupled member 40, and a resistive element 58 which is provided at a lower end 51b of the movable rod 51 and movably arranged in the viscous fluid R. An upper end 51a of the movable rod 51 is mounted so as to be detachably mounted to the first coupled member 30. |
