PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate and a paper container using the same, having flexibility in the laminate, having good end surface extension film folding for protecting an end surface of a barrel member and moldability in bottom formation, and having a simple layer structure capable of preparing a paper container without leaking liquid during retort sterilization, in the retort paper container.SOLUTION: In a laminate, in which a barrel member is formed in a tubular shape by overlapping one side end edge of the laminate on the other side end edge and in which a flange part is formed by catching its upper end edge by one circumference or more, the laminate comprises thermoplastic resin layers on both surfaces of a paper base material. The thermoplastic resin layer has a multilayer structure including a polyethylene resin layer. The polyethylene resin layer comprises polyethylene resin having a melting point of 122°C or more, and is formed by an extrusion method. |
