PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, an image processing program, and an imaging device by which a more correct phase difference distribution can be generated as compared with conventional ones.SOLUTION: A phase difference detection unit 143A detects a phase difference among a plurality of parallax images DC, DH, and DV by performing correlation value operation for the parallax images to generate a phase difference distribution DM in the images. At this time, phase difference detection is performed individually along two directions of a horizontal direction and a vertical direction in the images, and the phase difference distribution DM is generated by using a phase difference detection result for the two directions. Accordingly, an influence of an edge area is further suppressed during phase difference detection as compared with the conventional case. |
