PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head, along with a liquid ejecting apparatus, configured to suppress damage of a piezoelectric element and has superior displacement characteristics.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element 300 comprises a first common electrode 60, a first piezoelectric layer 65, an individual electrode 70, a second piezoelectric layer 75 and a second common electrode 80, which are sequentially stacked. The individual electrode 70 is provided corresponding to a pressure generating chamber 12 and is also covered with the second piezoelectric layer 75. The second common electrode 80 covers the second piezoelectric layer 75 and also is successively provided in the juxtaposition direction of the pressure generating chamber 12. |
