PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a rotary electric machine capable of preventing fixing power between an end plate and a rotation shaft from being lowered by heat generated from the rotor.SOLUTION: A rotor 10 includes: a rotor core 11 fixed to a rotation shaft 20 and having magnet housing holes 12; magnets 13 which are respectively inserted into and placed at the magnet housing holes 12; resin parts 14, each of which fills the magnet housing hole 12; a first end plate 15 disposed at the axial one side of the rotor core 11 and fixed to the rotation shaft 20; and a second end plate 16 disposed at the axial other side of the rotor core 11 and fixed to the rotation shaft 20 with axial fixing power smaller than that of the first end plate 15. The resin part 14 exists in at least an axial range between the magnet 13 and the first end plate 15 in the magnet housing hole 12, and the second end plate 16 is in contact with the magnet 13.
