PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an operation input system for enabling a user to perform an operation input without gazing at a display screen, which is excellent in convenience when a map image or the like is displayed on the display screen.SOLUTION: The operation input system includes a state switching part for switching an operation surface state in accordance with a map correspondence state in which a protruding member is put in a protruding state in association with in-map content information included in a map image displayed on a display screen and a burial input acceptance state in which the protruding member of an operation surface is put in a burial state. When the operation surface state is the map correspondence state, and an object to be detected is detected in a burial area, the state switching part switches the operation surface state from the map correspondence state to the burial input acceptance state, and executes first switching processing of putting the protruding member included in the switching acceptance area in a protruding state, and when the operation surface state is the burial input acceptance state, and the pressing operation to the protruding member is detected in the switching acceptance area, executes second switching processing of switching the operation surface state from the burial input acceptance state to the map correspondence state. |
