PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the image quality of a print image formed using a plurality of types of dot.SOLUTION: The print controller includes an error diffusion unit which includes a correction unit for generating a corrected gray-scale value by correcting a gray-scale value depending on the distribution error, a comparison unit for comparing the corrected gray-scale value with a plurality of thresholds, and a determination unit for determining whether or not a target pixel satisfies a first dot allowable condition, according to a first probability that is set depending on the gray-scale value. The dot value is determined to any one of a plurality of types of dot value including a first value representing a first type of dot, and a second value representing a second type of dot. The error diffusion unit determines the dot value to the first value when the first condition is satisfied, and determines the dot value to the second value when the second condition is satisfied. The first condition includes the fact that the corrected gray-scale value is larger than a first threshold, and the first dot allowable condition is satisfied. |
