1. An image processing apparatus for reading a document to generate image data using a reading unit, the image processing apparatus comprising:
a receiving unit configured to receive a job including a document reading-and-transmission job for causing the reading unit to read a document to generate image data and then transmitting the generated image data to a specified destination, from an information processing apparatus communicable via a network; a storage unit configured to store the job received by the receiving unit; a job list display unit configured to display a list of jobs stored by the storage unit in response to a user instruction; a confirmation screen display unit configured to display a confirmation screen related to transmission setting contents of a document reading-and-transmission job selected from the list of jobs displayed by the job list display unit; and an execution unit configured to execute the document reading-and-transmission job in a case where execution of the selected document reading-and-transmission job is instructed via the confirmation screen displayed by the confirmation screen display unit.
