The invention relates to an improved lever for a Swiss lever escapement and to an improved escapement, which enable the timing operations to be simplified by doing away with outer banking pins. The lever is made of an integral part, comprising a rod (12) defining a general plane in which the lever (10) lies, and provided, at the free thereof, with a fork (14) for interacting with a balance (17), wherein the lever is extended by two arms (20) on the side opposite that of the fork (14). Each arm (20) comprises: an impulse and rest pallet (22); a stop pallet (26) that is separate from the first lever and protrudes, relative to the arm (20), in said general plane, said stop pallet (26) having, at the end thereof, a convex portion defining a point of contact with an escapement wheel (24). |
