PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe automatic revolving door that quickly stops rotary wings, largely reduces impact force and allows an escape of a passerby and an object to be secured at the time of detection of any danger detection sensor when rotary wings leading end portions enter dangerous areas and the passerby and the object pass through the dangerous areas, and further to provide an operation control method therefor.SOLUTION: An automatic revolving door is constituted of: fixed frames 800 and 801; rotary wings 900 and 901; rotary wing driving devices 100 and 102; a detection device 101 for detecting a rotational position; and a control device 200 that causes the rotary wings 900 and 901 to be rotated at low-speed rotation when rotary wing leading end portions enter dangerous areas (an area AB and an area DE) and causes the rotary wings 900 and 901 to be rotated at acceleration, deceleration and steady speeds when the rotary wing leading end portions pass through from the dangerous areas. |
