PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate chattering due to uneven wear or the like induced in a rotate-sliding part, by directly opening and closing a valve element of a wastegate valve by reciprocal movement of an actuator, to smoothly open and close a valve head and to reduce leakage of exhaust gas from a seat part, thereby, to improve durability and performances of the wastegate valve, and to improve reliability of a turbocharger as a result.SOLUTION: A turbocharger 1 includes: a valve housing 52 constituting an exhaust gas passage where exhaust gas of the turbocharger 1 flows; an exhaust gas bypass passage 54 arranged in the valve housing 52; a valve seat 52a formed in an opening that connects the exhaust gas bypass passage 54 to an exhaust gas exit passage 55; a poppet valve 51 sliding in a direction perpendicular to the valve seat 52a to open and close the valve seat 52a; a bearing part 7 journaling the poppet valve 51; and an actuator 6 that slides the poppet valve 51 along the axis of a shaft 51b. |
