PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advertisement delivery system capable of appropriately updating an advertisement banner, suppressing a communication volume at that time, and attaining a favorable responsiveness.SOLUTION: A push/pull mixed type advertisement delivery system includes an advertisement delivery server, and a portable terminal. As for the delivery type of the advertisement delivery server, any of a push type delivery system and a pull type delivery system is defined according to catalog data. The portable terminal includes: a display unit that displays a received advertisement banner on a predetermined area; an operation unit that accepts an operation of a user; and a terminal control unit that, when the operation unit accepts the user's operation of selecting an advertisement banner displayed on the display unit, responds to the operation, and controls the display unit to display corresponding catalog data, and to accept the catalog data in procedures according to the delivery system of the catalog data. |
