PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a noise level within a frame.SOLUTION: A measurement apparatus includes: a count unit for counting each predetermined value obtained from a block composed of a pixel or a plurality of pixels in an image; a weighting unit for performing weighting as to whether count is performed by the count unit; and an analysis unit for analyzing whether or not distribution obtained from a result counted by the count unit is distribution with a predetermined shape. When the analysis unit determines that distribution is not distribution with a predetermined shape, weighting of the weighting unit is changed, and then distribution is created again and analyzed. This technique can be applicable to a television receiver or display for displaying a static image and a dynamic image. |
