PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control device in an elevator car, which can prevent malfunction when external light enters the car.SOLUTION: A remote control device in an elevator car is provided in the elevator car, and includes: an infrared light receiving unit which receives an operation signal formed of an electromagnetic wave having a predetermined wavelength in an infrared light region emitted from an infrared light remote controller, and outputs an infrared light detection signal; an external light detecting unit which determines whether external light other than the operation signal enters the infrared light receiving unit, based on the infrared light detection signal output from the infrared light receiving section; and a control means which prevents the infrared light detection signal output from the infrared light receiving unit from being transmitted to a control board of an elevator when the external light detecting unit determines that the external light enters the infrared light receiving unit. |
