PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately align the axis with the central axis of a heater member when press-fitting the heater member in the housing, thereby effectively suppress the deformation of a tube.SOLUTION: A glow plug 1 includes a cylindrical housing 2 having an axis hole 4 extending in the direction of an axis CL1, a cylindrical tube 7, a heating coil 8 placed in a tube 7, and a heater member 3 press-fitted in the axis hole 4 of the housing 2. When the heater member 3 is press-fitted in the housing 2, the outer periphery of the heater member 3 is supported as the outer periphery of the housing 2 is held by a housing holding part 122 disposed on the outer periphery of the housing 2. |
