PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-leveling UV-curable solid ink, wherein an image printed on a substrate is self-leveled.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a self-leveling curable solid ink comprising: a curable wax; one or more monomers; a low molecular weight amide gellant; a photoinitiator; and an optional colorant. The low molecular weight amide gellant comprises a dimer acid and ethylenediamine, has a weight average molecular weight of from about 800 to about 2,500, and is configured by capping both terminals of a polyamide oligomer that has carboxyl groups respectively on the both terminals of its main chain with an aromatic monoalcohol. |
