PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, even when fire occurs inside of an electric component box for an outdoor machine, flame thereof from reaching the outside of the electric component box for the outdoor machine through an opening, and to prevent the spread of the fire to a plastic made (resin made) outdoor fan, a fin guard or a fan guard or the like comprising the outdoor machine unit.SOLUTION: An outdoor machine unit 30 includes an electric component box 50 for an outdoor machine, which is provided inside the outdoor machine unit 30 of an air conditioner, houses electronic components carrying out the operation control of an outdoor heat exchanger 32 and a compressor 34 in a sheet-metal made casing, is provided with an opening 55 for work in the side wall part comprising a front surface of the casing, and includes a sheet-metal made lid body 58 that closes at least half or more of the opening 55 and is constituted attachably and detachably for the casing. A wind shielding plate 68, to divide the inside space of the outdoor machine unit 30 into two in collaboration with a baffle plate 35 provided inside the outdoor machine unit 30, is provided in the side wall part comprising the front surface of the casing. |
