PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to input a plurality of different code strings by one operation to an electronic apparatus having a function of user authentication using a depression amount detecting type touch panel, in order to reduce the number of user operations and enhance security in user authentication.SOLUTION: A function unit 11 of an electronic apparatus 1 causes a display unit 13 to display a user authentication screen for a function which requires authentication. An operation unit 14 detects coordinates and a depression amount on a touch panel display when a user touches the touch panel display. An operation recognition unit 15 refers to area information of the user authentication screen stored in a storage unit 12, and acquires input number information indicating a plurality of different numbers input by the user to the user authentication screen on the basis of the coordinates and depression amount received by the operation unit 14. An authentication control unit 16 collates the input number information and personal identification number information stored in the storage unit 12, and when they match with each other, transmits an instruction to the function unit 11 to unlock the function which requires authentication. |
