PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator-freezer of high energy saving performance, capable of ventilating air from an ambient environment of a refrigerator to a machine room without increasing a temperature in a ventilation system to the machine room, allowing the air flowing into the machine room, to efficiently absorb heat in the machine room, and discharging the air absorbing heat, to the ambient environment without allowing the air absorbing heat, to flow into the machine room again.SOLUTION: A ventilation fan motor, a machine room right exhaust port 12a, a machine room left exhaust port 12b, and intakes 11a-11c are arranged so that a space at one side serves as a positive-pressure space, and a space at the other side serves as a negative-pressure space in operating the ventilation fan motor, side and back covers of the machine room serve as a boundary face of the positive-pressure space and a refrigerator ambient space, and the exhaust ports are formed on the side or back cover of the machine room, or both of the side and back covers of the machine room. |
