PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite of chitin or chitosan and synthetic polymer that has the property, such as tough film properties suitable for film thinning, that cannot be obtained from chitin or chitosan itself, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a composite of chitin or chitosan and synthetic polymer includes: (a) a step of providing chitin gel or chitosan gel; and (b) a step of polymerizing polymerizable monomer in the presence of chitin gel or chitosan gel, a cross-linking agent, and a polymerization initiator. |
