PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device and an image forming apparatus capable of accurately and stably maintaining a posture of a sheet with a gripping part for a long period of time without generating inconvenience such as abnormal sound even when moving the gripping part in the state of holding the sheet along a moving passage formed so as to change the moving direction.SOLUTION: When a holding member 40 in the state of gripping a sheet P with a gripping part 41 moves along a moving passage 31 and reaches direction changing parts A and B, a movable gear 42 arranged in the holding member 40 is directly or indirectly engaged with fixed gears 33 and 34 arranged in a position of the direction changing parts A and B, the gripping part 41 rotates relatively to the holding member 40, and thereby, the posture of the sheet P gripped by the gripping part 41 is maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
