The present invention relates to an air conditioning system for automotive vehicles, and the objective of the present invention is to minimize time waste due to preheating of a gas sensor during operation of an air conditioning device by preheating a gas sensor sensing harmful gases in the vehicle in advance before the operation of the air conditioning device, and therefore, to enable prompt air cleaning during the operation of the air cleaning device. In order to achieve the objective of the present invention, the air conditioning system for automotive vehicles capable of increasing air quality by purifying air in the vehicle according to the density of the harmful gas in the vehicle inputted from gas sensors comprises a gas sensor power supply time control device for performing preheating by applying a power source to the gas sensors before the air cleaning device operates. And the gas sensor power supply time control device comprises: a unit for sensing time prior to operation of an air conditioning device which outputs an air conditioning device operation prior time signal, by sensing prior time before the air conditioning device operates; and a micom which supplies a power source to the gas sensors in advance by judging that the time is prior to the time when the air conditioning device operates, when the air conditioning device operation prior time signal is inputted from the unit for sensing time prior to operation of the air conditioning device.
