PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle drive system that can individually control rotational speed and torque for each wheel and wheel set even in a state where a plurality of main motors are connected in parallel to a common inverter.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle drive system includes: a main motor 25 installed for each wheel set 23; a planetary gear mechanism 30 installed for each main motor 25; and an auxiliary motor 35 installed for each planetary gear mechanism 30. Each main motor 25 is electrically connected with the common inverter in parallel, and the auxiliary motor 35, the wheel set 23, and the main motor 25 are coupled with the sun gear of the planetary gear mechanism 30, the ring gear, and the planet carrier, respectively. |
