PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a cooperation operation simulation at a high speed while suppressing man-hours required for preparation low even though software and hardware to be subjected to cooperation verification are on a large scale and various in a semiconductor design support device provided with a general-purpose processor to perform cooperation verification of a semiconductor product including a development processor and the function of development software to be operated by the development processor.SOLUTION: A compiler for a general-purpose processor converts the development software into a low level language for a general-purpose processor. Description conversion means is provided, which converts an access instruction to an address space of the development processor into a variable corresponding to an address of an address space of the general-purpose processor. The description conversion means converts a transfer instruction of a start command to a peripheral circuit in the development software into a function call of the peripheral circuit, wherein the peripheral circuit mapped to the address space of the development processor is preliminarily prepared with a peripheral circuit model operating on the general-purpose processing as a function. |
