PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device for performing security protected communication, a program to embody the information processing device, and a recording medium for storing the program.SOLUTION: An information processing device 110 according to the invention is an information processing device for communicating with an external device 150 via a network 102, and includes: management means 118 for managing a plurality of secure communication modes which the information processing device is enabled to use; storage means 120 for storing selection criterion information defining a selection criterion of a secure communication mode to be used; acquisition means 122, 126, 128 for acquiring a reference index value conditioned on the selection reference information; and selection means 116 for selecting the secure communication mode which the information processing device 110 uses on the basis of the selection criterion information and the acquired reference index value per communication unit with the external device 150. |
