PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that properly removes toner of each color in the same bias regardless of the number of overlapping toner patterns during refresh mode.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes an image carrier 8 of which surface can moves; toner image forming means 6 for forming a toner image on an image carrier surface by use of black toner and one or more colors of toner different from the black toner; transfer means 18 that transfers the toner image on the image carrier surface to a transfer material; cleaning means 100 having a cleaning member 101 provided on the downstream side of the transfer means in the image carrier surface moving direction, to remove the toner adhered on the image carrier surface by electrostatically moving it to the own surface; and bias application means 130 for applying bias to the cleaning member. The toner patterns of the colors are formed by the toner image forming means during refresh mode so that the whole of the black toner pattern overlaps one or more toner patterns of the other colors. |
