PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for simply forming a uniform protective film on a surface of a metal base material used in an SOFC.SOLUTION: In a collector member for a solid oxide fuel cell, a protective film 12 containing a metal oxide as a main component is formed on a metal base material 11. In a method for producing the collector member for a solid oxide fuel cell, the sharpest part at a corner of the metal base material 11 is fabricated at an obtuse angle, and then the protective film 12 containing a metal oxide as a main component is formed. The protective film 12 is uniformly formed, so that generation of cracks or the like can be suppressed even when a thermal stress is applied, deterioration in a fuel cell can be suppressed, and the fuel cell having high reliability even if used for a long period of time can be manufactured. |
