PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in forming a display image of complex rendering.SOLUTION: Pattern images related to each one of four kinds of compound modes are displayed on a menu screen. A pictogram and a sample image, etc., for example, are preferable as pattern images. A pictogram is visual information where the features of images to be obtained in respective compound modes are expressed to be conspicuous by using pictures and characters, etc., for example. The sample image is a sample of a three-dimensional image formed by using respective compound modes, for example. The sample of a three-dimensional image may be prepared before diagnosis or formed by using data obtained from a subject under diagnosis. Since pattern images of the respective compound modes are displayed, a user can select a desired compound mode, for example, while mentally drawing three-dimensional images to be actually obtained in the respective compound modes during viewing pattern images. |
