PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easily confirming whether the inner peripheral edge of a through-hole of an automotive body panel fits in the annular locking recessed portion of a grommet.SOLUTION: A grommet 20 comprises: a wire-harness insertion portion 22; and an annular extended portion 30 formed of an elastic material to project outward from the wire-harness insertion portion 22, the annular extended portion 30 having an annular locking recessed portion 32 formed on the outer periphery thereof and having a receiving-side annular portion 40 formed axially on the one side of the wire-harness insertion portion 22 while having an insertion-side annular portion 50 formed on the other side with respect to the annular locking recessed portion 32. A projection 60 is formed partially in the circumferential direction on the periphery of the insertion-side annular portion 50 on the side of the annular locking recessed portion 32. The projection 60 includes a slope 62 outwardly inclined toward the annular locking recessed portion 32 in the axial direction of the wire harness insertion portion 22, and a panel-facing surface 64 that forms an acute angle with the slope 62 and faces the annular locking recessed portion 32 side.
