PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manage documents in a relational database having a hierarchical structure.SOLUTION: A document management device includes: storage means 300 that stores therein a master table T1 having plural parent documents including identifiers and information contents, an intermediate table T2 associating the identifier of each parent document stored in the master table with a first reference address that is an address where the parent document is stored, and a sub-table T3 having the identifier identifying the parent document, a second reference address that is an address where a record associated with the parent document in the intermediate table is stored, and a child document including information contents derived from the parent document; and processing means 107 that when a request is made to add, change or delete a record to the master table or the sub-table with a request signal, executes processing requested to the master table or the sub-table and re-writes the corresponding first reference address and second reference address. |
