An outdoor unit of an air conditioner by an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a base fan which forms a bottom surface; an outdoor heat exchanger which is installed on the base fan and exchanges heat with air flowing in by the fan; a blast fan which is included in the upper part of the outdoor heat exchanger and discharges the intake air to the upper side; a shroud, where the blast fan is accommodated, guiding air flow; a rear panel which is included in the upper part of the outdoor heat exchanger and shields the area of the shroud; and an intake grill which is included in the rear side of the rear panel and is formed with wire of a grid shape. The lower end of the rear panel has a shielding unit in order to hide and seal the upper end of the outdoor heat exchanger by extending the shielding unit in a direction lower than the upper end of the outdoor heat exchanger.
