A data transmitting method of a data transmitting apparatus for an electronic shelf label (ESL) tag according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a step of generating image data to be outputted on a screen of the ESL tag by being downloaded in the ESL tag, and a step of transmitting the image data to the ESL tag. The image data includes bit map data per pixel and coordinate data of a fixed region. According to the present invention, it is possible to output a color image on the ESL tag using a small amount of data. |
