PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce useless power consumption in battery by notifying a user of an application being started in a background when it exists in the case of storing a terminal body, in a foldable portable communication terminal with which a plurality of applications can be started. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a portable communication terminal in which a first case 100 having a display portion 101 and a second case 200 having an operation portion 201 are configured to be opened/closed. The portable communication terminal, with which a plurality of applications can be started, includes: an opening/closing detecting means 301 for detecting the opening/closing state of the first and second cases 100, 200; and a reporting portion 205 for reporting that the application being started exists in a case where the application being started in the background exists when the opening/closing detecting means 301 detects the closing state of the cases in the portable communication terminal.
