PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a composite material such as a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) or the like by a chip saw which has not been used conventionally.SOLUTION: A chip saw 1 is configured so that plural saw blades 3 are formed with predetermined intervals on an outer periphery of a discoid base metal 2, and a chip 5 is fastened to a pedestal 4 formed on each of the saw blades. The chip 5 is a staggered tooth, and a rake surface 5a of the chip 5 is a minus angle α inclined to an opposite direction of a rotation direction A of the chip saw 1, and when a material to be cut is thin, the chip is approximately in a fan shape, and a pitch of adjacent saw blades is less than 4.5 mm. |
