PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial roller bearing retainer with which the bearing can be rotated and guided in a wider surface area without receiving restriction of assembling direction even when an end support part of a retainer is insufficient, and which is excellent in wear resistance.SOLUTION: The radial roller bearing retainer has a pair of rims 4a, 4b of roughly an annular shape, which face each other and being spaced at a predetermined interval concentrically, and a plurality of columns 6 which connect these rims and form pockets 10 for retaining rollers rotatably with space areas separating between them in the circumferential direction. A pair of the rims have, at the outer diameter side, a plurality of diameter-reduced portions 42a, 42b dented in a recessed shape in the radial direction from the outer circumferential portion of the columns, and have, at the inner diameter side, a plurality of diameter-expanded portions 44a, 44b dented in the recessed shape in the radial direction from the inner circumferential portion of the columns in a different phase to the circumferential direction from a plurality of the diameter-reduced portions. The plurality of the diameter-reduced porions are arranged at predetermined intervals so that a phase to the circumferential direction of each diameter-reduced portion becomes different at both sides of the rim portions. The plurality of the diameter-expanded porions are arranged at predetermined intervals so that the phase to the circumferential direction of each diameter-expanded portion becomes different at both sides of the rim portions. |
