Device for mitigation of a wave

The device has a horizontal plate submerged in incident sea swell and maintained in a position under the free surface of water by stretched cables (24) or rods anchored on the sea-bed. The plate has perpendicular upstream and downstream edges (12, 14) extended at their base by stubs (12A, 14A) of same determined length. A raft (10A) laid between the edges, has perforations (20) on a part of its surface.
