PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel filler tube capable of preventing a user from incorrectly filling a fuel tank of a diesel automobile with gasoline, to a minimum.SOLUTION: A door member 6 extends in a direction intersecting a cylinder center of a nozzle guide 3, from a support shaft 7 to a position close to an inner peripheral surface of a filler tube body 2, and closes a nozzle insertion hole 3a of the nozzle guide 3. There is provided a projection 63 at the door member 6. When a nozzle 11a of a fuel gun 11 for diesel oil is inserted into the nozzle insertion hole 3a, the projection does not get caught on a peripheral edge of a tip of the nozzle 11a of the fuel gun 11 for diesel oil, thus allowing rotation of the door member 6 in a nozzle insertion direction. When a nozzle 12a of a fuel gun 12 for gasoline is inserted into the nozzle insertion hole 3a, the projection gets caught on a peripheral edge of a tip of the nozzle 12a of the fuel gun 12 for gasoline, thus inhibiting rotation of the door member 6 in the nozzle insertion direction, in the middle of the rotation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
