PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet production apparatus capable of being periodically cleaned.SOLUTION: A sheet production apparatus which deposits material containing a fiber, heats and pressurizes the deposited material, and produces a sheet includes a control section which acquires information on a flowing amount of the fiber, and allows cleaning means to clean the fiber deposited onto at least a part of the sheet production apparatus. The sheet production apparatus includes a paper feeding section for feeding used paper and a fibrillation section for fibrillating the used paper into a fiber form.
