摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device in which shortening of a battery life due to failure detection of a flame detection circuit using a thermocouple is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The combustion device includes a thermocouple failure detection part 53. When such a state that a flame detection signal Vtc of a thermocouple 20 is lower than the ignition level is produced within a period until a burner 2 is extinguished from a time when a micro computer 50 starts the actuation by virtue of a supply power from a battery 10, the thermocouple failure detection part 53 releases the retention of conduction state of a transistor 11 performed by a power source supply retention part 51 and turns the transistor 11 into a shutoff state. When such a state that the flame detection signal Vtc of the thermocouple 20 is lower than the ignition level is not produced within the above period, the thermocouple failure detection part 53 performs failure detection processing of the thermocouple 20 after the burner 2 is extinguished, for determining whether the flame detection signal Vtc of the thermocouple 20 becomes lower than the ignition level, by the time when a prescribed time elapses since the burner 2 is extinguished and, thereafter the thermocouple failure detection part 53 puts the transistor 11 off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p>
