PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method and device for accurately predicting a wear performance of a tire.SOLUTION: The method for predicting an abrasion loss of at least one tread small region continuous in the tire circumferential direction of a tread part includes: a process S3 of calculating the average abrasion energy of the tread small region of a tire model for each rolling condition by making a computer travel a tire model by at least two or more rolling conditions from among free rotations, braking, driving, and turning, and calculating the average abrasion energy of the tread small region of the tier model; a condition-based abrasion performance calculation process S4 of calculating a condition-based abrasion performance of the tread small region of the tire for each rolling condition on the basis of the average abrasion energy; an occurrence frequency calculation process S5 of acquiring an occurrence frequency of each rolling condition regarding the previously provided travel history, and a process S6 of calculating a prediction abrasion performance of the tread small region when the tire travels with a traveling history by weighting the condition-based abrasion performance of each rolling condition with the occurrence frequency in the tread small region of the tire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
