APPRATUS AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING MEDICAL IMAGES INCLUDING INFORMATION OF VASCULAR STRUCTURE

Disclosed are an apparatus and a method to display an image matched between a pre-operative computed tomography (CT) image and an intra-operative real-time X-ray image photographed in a surgical procedure by matching the CT image and the X-ray image. The apparatus matches a pre-operative CT image with an X-ray image of a patient who receives a contrast medium and displays the matched image by matching the matched image with a real-time X-ray image. According to the disclosed apparatus and method, convenience and stability of the surgical procedure can be enhanced since three-dimensional blood vessel information can be displayed on the real-time X-ray image.
