A biofilter of "Kaskad" plant consists of an aeration basin in the upper part of the plant, grating (laying), blocks (containers, cassettes) of biofiltering layer, pipelines for supply and siphons for discharge of water, pipelines for supply of compressed air and discharge of sludge. The biofiltering layer is filled with separate blocks, produced of synthetic material of multichannel, tubular or cellular structure, or containers with bulk solid elements, or other filtering articles, having major general surface of height closer to the height of biofiltering layer, fixed vertically to horizontal grating, laying with possibility of their regularly turning over to 180° against grating, laying, after discharge of biofiltering zone from water and drying of filling to air-dry state. |
