The weld gap clamp (2), which is clamped on a component through protracting, is fixed on the component to be welded in independent manner and forms a defined gap (4) between two components in the weld technique, is claimed. The self-yielding air gap is formed by material strength of the weld gap clamp and has a material strength of 0.5-4 mm after using the base material. The weld gap clamp is partially or completely removed after stapling the component and is overwelded by melting and/or mechanical removing.
