Provided is a pants-type wearing article including a connecting member by the intermediary of which respective lateral regions of front and rear waist regions are connected together. The connecting member 6 L is folded to form mountain folds 41 L , 42 L and valley folds 51 L , 52 L arranged alternately and collapsed in a circumferential direction C.
