<p>The device has a band part (1) closed to form a closed ring with closure parts (2, 3). A planar structured support part (17) is connected to the band part, and protrudes from the band part on one side and provides support for stomach area lying proximally with respect to the band part in an applied position. The support part extends about a central axis (5) by less than 270 degrees in a sectional plane for cross sections that pass through the support part and lie parallel to a mid-plane. The band part lies in the mid-plane, and the support part extends centrally through the band part. The band part and the support part are designed as a prefabricated unit.</p> |
